No deposit
Other rentals block €300–€800 on your credit card. We block nothing. You pay for the rental, that is all.
Pick up your scooter at Vrata Sv. Krševana, right by the old town. No deposit, no paperwork marathon, no waiting — helmet on and the whole Dalmatian coast is yours.

We are a small, owner-run rental — which is exactly why the conditions are simple enough to fit on one page.

Every scooter comes with two clean helmets in your size — rider and passenger. No extra charge, no rummaging in a dusty box.
Third-party liability insurance — compulsory in Croatia — is already in the daily rate, not sold to you at the counter. You get the papers with the keys and we walk you through the cover in two minutes.
Enough for Nin, Pag or Krka and back in one day. Every extra kilometre is just €0.20 — settled honestly at the end.
Six models, all maintained in-house and under five years old. Classic Vespa style or sporty Yamaha comfort — the price always includes helmets, insurance and 200 km a day.

Our 125 — modern, frugal and very easy to ride
Four of them in the fleet, all 2025 models. Needs an A1 licence — a car licence is not enough in Croatia.

The classic 50 — and the only one a car licence covers
Three of them, in mint, grey and green. Ideal for the old town and the beaches around Zadar.
No upsell at the counter. These are not extras — they are simply part of the price.
Zadar is a peninsula of narrow lanes and a coast that keeps going. On two wheels you park anywhere, you feel the sea air, and you reach places a rental car never will.
No circling the old town looking for a space. Scooter parking is everywhere and mostly free.
A 125 uses roughly 2.5 litres per 100 km. A full day on the coast costs you about one coffee and a sandwich.
The Jadranska magistrala with the sea on one side and Velebit on the other — this is a road you want to feel, not watch through glass.
We tell you which beach is empty on a Tuesday and which road is worth the detour. That part is free.
Use the booking form, WhatsApp or just call. Tell us the dates and how many riders — that is enough to start.
We reply with the scooter, the price and the pick-up time. No prepayment, no card details — your word is enough.
Bring your licence and ID. We hand over helmets, papers and keys, show you the basics, and you are gone in ten minutes.
All distances are one way from Zadar old town. Every single one of these fits comfortably inside your daily allowance — there and back.
The easiest win: a quiet fishing village strung along the shore with small pebble coves.
Pine-shaded peninsula with little beaches, straight up the old coast road.
A long shallow bay with warm, calm water — the easy family stop before Nin.
Croatia's oldest royal town on its own island, plus the famous healing-mud lagoon.
A sandy spit at the end of the Nin peninsula. Shallow water and the best sunsets near Zadar.
An island you ride onto over a bridge — no ferry, no timetable, no queue.
Croatia's largest lake and a bird reserve. Flat roads, almost no traffic, big views from Kamenjak.
Velebit on one side, the Adriatic on the other. The best piece of road anywhere near Zadar.
Over the bridge into a lunar limestone landscape, then the old salt town. Unlike anywhere else in Croatia.
The Skradinski buk waterfalls. The longest trip on this list — doable in a day, but start early.
All of these fit inside your 200 free kilometres a day. Ask us for the route — we will mark it on your map.
Italians, Germans, Dutch, Croats — they all come back for the same reason: it is simple, it is fair, and the scooters are properly looked after.
Call us, send a WhatsApp or fill in the booking form. No deposit, no prepayment, no waiting.
No. ATOM rents without any deposit at all — nothing is blocked on your credit card and nothing is held in cash. You pay the rental price when you collect the scooter and that is the end of it.
It depends on the engine size. A 50 cc scooter needs category AM — and in Croatia a category B car licence carries the AM entitlement. A 125 cc needs category A1. A 300 cc needs A2 (or a full A). Bring the original of your licence in your own name plus your ID or passport. Not sure what your licence covers? Send us a photo on WhatsApp before you book and we will tell you exactly which scooters you may ride.
No, and this is the single most common misunderstanding we deal with. Germany (B196), Italy, Spain, France and Austria let car-licence holders ride a 125 at home — Croatia does not. Here you need category A1 on your licence for anything above 50 cc. With a plain category B car licence you may ride our 50 cc Vespa Primavera, which is plenty for Zadar and the beaches nearby. We would rather tell you this before you book than at the counter — riding without the right category is uninsured and the fines are serious.
Yes — two of them, with every scooter, at no extra charge. In Croatia a properly fastened, homologated helmet is legally mandatory for the rider and the passenger, so we would rather hand you a clean one in the right size than sell it to you as an extra. Tell us your head sizes when you book and we will have them ready.
Every rental day includes 200 kilometres. The allowance is counted across the whole rental, not per single day — so on a three-day rental you have 600 km in total and it does not matter how you split them. Beyond that, every extra kilometre costs €0.20 and is settled when you return the scooter.
Every scooter carries the third-party liability insurance that is compulsory in Croatia, and the cover is included in your daily rate — you are not asked to buy it separately at the counter. You get the insurance papers together with the keys, and we go through what is and is not covered at handover; it takes two minutes and saves any misunderstanding later. As with any rental vehicle, damage caused by riding under the influence, by someone without the correct licence category, or off public roads is not covered.
In July and August, a few days ahead is sensible — the 125 cc scooters go first. Outside the peak weeks you can very often get a scooter on the same day. There is no booking fee and no prepayment, so booking early costs you nothing.
Our minimum rental age is 18 for every scooter in the fleet, and the licence must be in the rider's own name — we cannot hand over a scooter to somebody riding on a friend's licence. Croatian law allows younger riders in some categories, but as a rental we and our insurer set 18 across the board.
Three things catch visitors out. Dipped headlights are mandatory for scooters and motorcycles in daylight all year round, not just in winter. The blood alcohol limit is 0.5 g/l, but it is zero for riders under 24 and for anyone who has held a licence for less than two years. And 50 cc scooters are not allowed on motorways or expressways — which is no loss, because the coast road is the better ride anyway.
Cash or card at pick-up, in euro. There is no prepayment and no booking fee, so nothing is charged when you send your request.
